Having purchased this product in 1999, I was ever so stunned to stumble upon the first, and only review, before today's comment. Moments ago, I was ordering a copy for a son stationed in the Army currently (coast of Virginia)and saw that the first rewiewer could not possibly have read the crystal clear .com book description. Furthermore, the author|About the Author|Jim Hinkel grew up in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and came to North Carolina to design and build vacation homes. He was so impressed with the High Country that he began to "collect" scenic roads and towns like others might collect paint
